ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE (AIRs) - (Please click on the artist thumbnail photos below to enjoy their artforms)
We seek like-minded artists desiring to assist us in uplifting humanity. As an Artist-In-Residence (AIR), UR2.Global offers artists a platform strictly dedicated to showcase and promote their original works that uplift mankind, at no charge, and the artists remain the copyright holder of all of your works. UR2.Global has had over a million media impressions and thousands of visitors offering artists added exposure.
We also promote your work in our newsletter and HUGS Outreach to institutions of despair. In addition to showcasing your art-forms, UR2.Global also commissions AIRs to co-create "new original works" with us that uplift the self-esteem of humanity via our global humanitarian projects, artists colonies and retreats, workshops, festivals, plays, and music videos.
New works that are offered as a collaborative project enlisting AIRs are considered "works for hire" and may be a paid or volunteer project, and/or the AIRs may be offered scholarships for artist retreats, all of which are intended to uplift mankind and expand the AIRs individual and collective portfolios. For any collaborative projects, the AIRs contribution to the project will also be credited in the credit roll. Any artist interested in joining us in this noble cause as an AIR is welcomed. Our current artists-in-residence are listed below. You may view their showcased work by clicking the Music, Drama, Literary, Art, Dance, and Projects links above. You may also learn more about the artist by clicking the link to their individual websites below.
SUBMIT: To become an AIR complete this "Submission Form" which ask you to send us your photo, short bio, and at least one of your original uplifting works that you want showcased on the site and share how the original work you chose to showcase relates to self-esteem, self-love, self-confidence and uplifting the inner-peace of mankind which our founders believe is the only way to achieve world peace. Be assured that your "works" are secure and not downloadable from our site - only featured on the site, with a link to your site. College and Post-grad interns seeking fellowship appointments may send resume. NOTE: Cover songs or dramas adapted from other people's works are not featured on UR2.Global, we only showcase original works.
VISITING GUEST ARTISTS
Artists that are NOT interested in participating in our in-house projects may simply submit their original work to be showcased on the UR2.Global site as a Visiting Guest Artist contributor and will not be listed as an artist-in-residence or called on to participate when UR2.Global social projects arise, and instead will be listed as a "Guest or Visiting Artist".
Each Spring, The Sacretherapy Institute will select an "Honorary Artist-in-Residence" (HAR) for the UR2.Global project whose work as an artist uplifts mankind. Singer-songwriter, IMDb Writer and Director - Nakeva Bryant was selected as 2023 HAR. The HAR is selected from nominations received during the annual global search for an HAR. Artists may be nominated by peers and or nominate themselves for (2024) if they meet the following criteria:
1) The selected artist must share an interest in supporting the UR2.Global project and mission to showcase the ARTS for the purpose of uplifting self-esteem.
2) The HAR will support our Annual Artist Challenge that will be named after the HAR, and promoted to the public to motivate more artist to submit original works to help uplift mankind.
3) The HAR will create or commission one of their works to be showcased on the site with the option of being utilized by the participating artists. The Annual Artist Challenge invites professional artists, amateur artists, students, aspiring, and retired artists to participate.
