UR2.Global Arts Project Names Philip Adair - Pianist & Composer as the 2026 Honorary Artist
St. Petersburg, FL April 20, 2026 --(PR.com)-- UR2.Global – A Psycho-Spiritual Not-for-Profit Arts Project created to unify mankind and uplift the self-esteem of humanity names Atlanta based pianist and composer Philip Adair as the 2026 Honorary Artist-in-Residence.
As an esteemed multi-genre artist, Philip embodies the lyrics “to be young, gifted and black” having started his training in classical music at age six and moved into jazz during his teens after listening to his father's jazz record collection. From there his passion and music education has landed him in movie roles such as *RESPECT* (2021) accompanying Jennifer Hudson, *The Color Purple* (2023), *The Naked Gun: Law of Toughness* (2025) and in *Heart Strings* (2019) with Dolly Parton. In 2018, he joined the American Music Abroad tour, performing across Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Belarus, and Moldova with the Myrna Clayton Experience. He has also been seen with jazz greats such Alex Bugnon. Having come out of a solid foundation in music education which included taking AP Music Theory and Advanced Jazz Band at Chamblee Charter High School, he ultimately majored in jazz at the University of Memphis, later transferring to Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, Texas, on a full music scholarship where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in music performance in 2012. After graduation he returned to Atlanta, Georgia where he was born and raised and has become a sought-after musician throughout the Southeast.
As a young jazz composer, Philip composed and produced his first EP “Chill with Phil Music,“ which has had nearly 25,000 plays. He created it with the desire to assist mankind in chilling out and enjoying the vibration of ease that smooth jazz can bring.
UR2.Global Psycho-Spiritual Arts Project President – Amelia Kemp, M.S., Ph.D., LMHC, states that Philip’s amazing career in music demonstrates our nonprofit’s theme where the acronym “UR2” means that “you are too” an equal, important, and worthy soul, and do not have to be rich or famous to bring added light and love to our world society.” Being a young gifted musician and composer, he has shown that you can attract and co-create with artist of all levels of notoriety while remaining humble, open, and receptive to what the universe has in store for everyone that dare believe that it is possible. Dr. Kemp who happens to be a licensed psychotherapist and singer-songwriter created the arts project to uplift the self-esteem of humanity and unify mankind, and states, “self-esteem matters because it determines how one feels about themselves at their core, their value, self-worth, and self-acceptance. When one is at peace within, they can honor others, and then once inner-peace is accomplished, world peace can be achieved.”
As such, UR2.Global offers an annual “Call for Artists” around the world to come participate in the Annual Inner-Peace Equals World Peace Artist Music Video Retreat with the opportunity to contribute a verse to each year’s newest original song written by Dr. Kemp, and as a special treat to be accompanied by Honorary Artist Philip Adair.
